DJ Solstik is queued up to spin an electronic set of dance music with sounds vibing from 70s and 80s remixes to today’s underground house. Solstik DJed and organized events at DC’s 9:30 Club Backbar, Zeba, and the Velvet Lounge, as well as for nonprofits and NGOs, such as the Kennedy Center, World Bank/IMF, Children’s National Hospital, Narcotics Anonymous, and French Embassy.   

He’s also a former Element Skateboards team rider who performed at the House of Vans in Brooklyn and other parks. As a multimedia artist, he traveled to all seven continents for his global, connected-culture photography project.

Solstik Founder Derran Eaddy, M.A., is a lifelong education advocate serving currently as a Smithsonian Ambassador and previously as a New Mexico Higher Education Commissioner and a U.S. Senate Fellow.
