Founded in 1985, the Alex Gallery and Gallery A are Dupont Circle's longest running gallery spaces, known for featuring international contemporary painters and sculptors. Work on display for Art All Night 2024 includes pieces from Austria, Finland, Germany, Japan, South Africa, and the US. 

Art All Night 2024 Alex Gallery featured painter, Aeyesha Farooqui, is based in Washington, DC. Drawing from experiences around the world, her figurative series "The Faces of Resilience: Women Through Art" meditates on beauty and pain animating womens' lives.    

Art All Night 2024 Gallery A featured internationally known artist is Michael Kroetch. In a fascinating series of his works--The Last Worlds of Berlin-- he explored the abandoned 19th century buildings in war ravaged and real estate plundered Berlin.
